AT&T Mark the Spot iPhone App Upgraded

January 30th, 2010 adam Leave a comment Go to comments

AT&T Wireless updated their AT&T Mark the Spot iPhone application. This update makes a lot of sense. Before the update, when you had a problem with service, mainly data, you couldn’t submit the problem because you didn’t have service. This issue was one of those Doh moments!

With the update to version 1.1, Mark the Spot adds a Mapping Function to store problems that were not successfully submitted and will periodically attempt to submit problem reports that failed. You can clear pending submissions if you have no coverage at all. An addition to the app is a Diagnostics Test that can add a lot of information to the problem submission. The test can take 10 to 30 seconds, which is way too long.
